Mark Allen Stuart was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He is the son of Industrial Psychologist Kent Desmond Stuart. He began his career at Procter & Gamble in 1984 after graduating from Rice University (Football scholarship). In 1990 he entered the entertainment business as corporate senior merchant for Blockbuster Video (later Blockbuster Entertainment) when the retailer had 500 stores. In 1991 he was promoted to become the youngest officer in company history when named Vice President of Merchandise and Studio Relations. He left the company in 1993 when the business had grown to nearly 7000 stores internationally (prior to the acquisition of Blockbuster by Viacom). While at Blockbuster and during the rapid growth of the business he was instrumental in building relationships with film and video game producers as well as being a member of the acquisition and management team that acquired Spelling Entertainment and Republic Studios. After Blockbuster and several corporate business positioning Mark became the CEO of ChannelSpace Entertainment - producers of the nightly prime time TV series Treasures In Your Home and CEO of the Collecting Channel. After the sale of Channelspace Mark became a corporate business strategist working with over 125 companies in a 15 year span. Mark formed Hydraulic Entertainment in 2008 while producing Larry Blamire's "The Lost Skeleton Returns Again", a film that he helped Blamire create as a sequel to The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. In 2012 Hydraulic Entertainment entered into the music and short film categories and since that time Mark as served as creator and Executive Producer on 25 music projects including "Vagabond", "Lost Skeleton Returns", "Return of the Zombies", "Supernatural", "When Worlds Collide", "The World Turned Upside Down" and "Bedlam". During this time he also wrote and directed 6 short films including "Zombie", "Half Human", "Ripper", "Wanderer", and "Zombies" a film shot in the US and Russia.
