Named as one of Screen International's 'Future Leaders' 2015, BAFTA-nominated producer Olivier founded the London-based independent production company Parkville Pictures in 2007. Parkville Pictures' films have gone on to receive a string of international awards and nominations, and in 2016 was awarded funding by the BFI's prestigious 'Visions Award', before most recently being named as one of Screen International's UK's production companies on the rise. Parkville Pictures' fourth feature, The Miseducation Of Cameron Post, won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival 2018, starring Chloe Grace Moretz (KICK- ASS) and Sasha Lane (American Honey), and funded by Beachside Films. This was Parkville's second feature with Director Desiree Akhavan (both Executive Produced by Olivier) following their Sundance 2014 breakout and Indie Spirit Award nominated Appropriate Behaviour. Parkville Pictures' first announced projects from their BFI Visions-funded development slate include The Warning by Leanne Welham, a co-production with James Schamus' US Production Company, Symbolic Exchange, as well as Hong Khaou's third feature The Ugly One, based on the acclaimed play by Marius Von Mayenburg. Alongside his Parkville Pictures work, Olivier was appointed in 2014 as Senior Executive for Film London, BFI and BBC Films' award-winning Microwave feature production fund, and in 2017 Olivier was elected as a Governor on the board of the London Film School in 2017.
