Gaurav Madan

Gaurav Madan hails from Yamunanagar, Haryana. He did his Masters in Communication Studies from University of Pune. Gaurav has been a writer since childhood. His short stories and poems got published in many children's books like Nandan, Champak etc. He also used to play drums in school and was part of a little band. Gaurav started his film career as an Assistant Director on films such as Quick Gun Murugun and Barah Aana. He then started working as an Independent Ad Film Director and soon launched his production house Last Joker Pictures. Since then he has produced and directed many TV and digital commercials. In 2014, one of Gaurav's feature film scripts 'Shaktipur Crude' was a part of prestigious Sundance script lab. His 2017 short film 'Sambhavtaha' travelled to more than 40 international film festivals and won numerous awards including Best Writer, Best Director and Best Film. In 2019, Gaurav made his maiden feature length film titled Barah by Barah.
