Vicky Castillo

Vicky Castillo is the screen name of Victoria Kapunitan Castillo. Born to Perpetua Kapunitan and Vicente Castillo Sr. in San Vicente, Binan City, Laguna, Philippines. She is the eldest of ten siblings. She finished her secondary education at Torres High School in Tondo, Manila. She started her career in the entertainment business at the old Manila Opera House. She appeared in Ang Limpia Bota, Naligaw na Anghel, Langit pa rin kita, etc. Her last appearance in a movie was as Aling Pising in the iconic and multi awarded movie "Himala" with no less than the superstar of Philippine movies, Ms. Nora Aunor. She was a veteran Radio and TV actress, writer and director. She worked with the best in Radio and TV including Loretta Marquez, Err Ramos, Luz Fernandez, Augusto Victa, Johnny De Leon, Fundador Soriano, Tommy Angeles, Cesar Nocum, Tiya Dely, Chichay, Dolphy, Vilma Santos, Anita Linda to name a few. She was a regular cast in popular radio programs like Dear Ate Loreta, Pinagsisisihan Ko ito, Beinte Kwatro Oras, Dear Tiya Dely, Dear Kuya Cesar. She played different roles in TV serials like Ginang Milyonarya, Wansapanataym, and Maalaala Mo Kaya. She had four children in her first marriage and three in her second marriage.
