Frantisek Mach was born and raised in the small town of Novy Jicin in Eastern, Czech Republic. He had dreamed of moving to the U.S. and becoming a runway and fashion model. Determined to pursue his career, Frantisek (or Frank as his American friends call him) left Czech for New York with nothing but a suitcase and $250 in his pocket. To make ends meet until he could find work as a model, Frank accepted a job in Atlanta stripping and waxing floors for major department stores. It was that job that brought him to Miami - and he decided to stay in South Florida- eventually moving to Ft. Lauderdale. That was when he signed with his first agency. Over the next ten years Frank modeled in area fashion shows. When he was 26, he received an email from a popular casting website requesting that he come in to audition for the independent film. He never dreamed that he would land a role in a movie. The film was Guardian of Eden and he was cast as the villainous vampire, Lucious. Two more films followed, Lucky Streak and the Crime Fighters, and The Incubus.
