Erin Feliz Douglas

I am an 19-year-old filmmaker born proudly in the heart of Los Angeles, the world's #1 filmmaking capital. With my father in the show business industry for 30+ years, I inevitably grew up around film. In fact, my earliest memories are being on film sets. Until Covid-19 hit, I was never truly interested in embarking on a career in film. In fact, I never envisioned myself in the line of work at all prior to the pandemic. However, as I stepped out to explore the profession and shoot my first short film, I was offered a free camera package from the senior Vice-President of Marketing from Panavision, David Allen Dodson. Despite this offer, I decided to shoot my first film -with inspiration from Kathryn Bigelow- on the Apple 13 Pro Max Cinema Mode. Starting then and there, I knew that I was forever going to be attached to the artistic pursuit of telling a story and turning that vision into reality. It energizes me everyday to know that I am blessed with the priceless opportunity to possess both a voice and a vision as a filmmaker...And, most importantly, to share that with humanity.
