Hannah Depew grew up in California. At a young age she started taking dance classes and was soon actively involved in competitive dancing. She performed with the Oakland Ballet in The Nutcracker with Yoko's Dance and Performing Arts Academy. She also performed in Peter & the Wolf and Carnival of Animals with the Fremont Symphony. Hannah was also a competitive figure skating from age 8-15, and began figure skating under the guidance of Rudy Galindo. In high school she found her true calling, film. She took several film related classes in high school, as well as became involved in the theater department. She played the role of Mae Peterson in Bye, Bye Birdie, as well as performed as the lead dancer in her high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Hannah attended Fitchburg State College, where she graduated with a degree in video production in 2008. She has been actively involved with production in various roles from production assistants, film festival event coordinators, and even began working as an extra in various feature films such as My Best Friend's Girl and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. In 2008 Hannah moved to New York City and began working as a freelance production assistant at MTV, but continues to audition for various acting and background roles when the opportunity arises.
