Background Story: Hello there! I am a Film Director, grateful to experience a rich journey that includes several movies, that under my direction have made it to prestigious film festivals in Greece and abroad like "Athens International Film Festival" and "Sarajevo Film Festival": I started my career in reverse as my first job was as assistant electrician for the TV series "Last Paradise", 2004. I then became a Production Assistant for three years in four different TV series. I also worked as Continuity Supervisor for a feature film " I love Karditsa", 2009. I then moved on and became for six years Assistant Director for several TV, short films and feature films productions (examples: "50-50" TV series for MEGA channel, directed by Vasilis Thomopoulos, "Oniropagida" TV series for ANT1 channel, directed by Olga Malea, "Notias" feature film, directed by Tassos Boulmetis, "Bioten" TV ad, directed by Stella Serefoglou). Somewhere in between production sets, I decided I wanted to expand my knowledge and horizons following my heart path. I studied Film Direction at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos and right after at IEK AKMI. I also have a bachelor's degree in Media Production (Film Directing) from the Queen Margaret University of Edinburgh which is run through the Akmi Metropolitan College in Athens. Straight after my studies and before my master's degree I participated to the "S{cool} Life", an educational program of The Athens Concert Hall where I taught the art of the cinema in five high schools of Athens. In 2017 I graduated from the unique Master's program film.factory of Sarajevo Film Academy (program founded and managed by the famous Hungarian Film Director Bela Tarr): Master of Fine Arts, major: Film of Study/Film Directing (Hons 9.46/10). Awards and Distinctions For my post-graduate degree, I received two different scholarships from the Onassis Foundation and from the Sarajevo Film Academy.
