Rohit Khaitan

Rohit began his career in Media and Entertainment early on, after a brief stint in commercial banking at HSBC Bank, New Delhi. He moved to Mumbai in the year 2006 and started working on 'No Smoking' as Assistant Director, subsequently line producing 'Dev. D' starring Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin. Post which Khaitan worked as creative producer at 'Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd.' (In the year 2009-2010) and supervising producer at 'National Film Development Corporation' (In the year 2010-11, where he was in charge for films-'That Girl In Yellow Boots', National Award Winning-'The Good Road' & Indian European Co-Production- 'Qissa' featuring Irrfan Khan. In 2012-Short Film 'Lehenga' based on true story of a Gandhian family, which Khaitan produced was selected at 65th 'Festival De Cannes' later had its television premiere on NDTV Prime on 11th December 2014. Khaitan has also been instrumental in organizing Screen Writing workshop 'Script-Walla' by Veteran Bollywood Writer Kamlesh Pandey and American Writer/Director Ben Rekhi. In the year 2016-17 he produced and showcased in India & internationally theatrical adaptation of Shakespeare's 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona' on the 400th Death Anniversary of Bard presented by Mahesh Bhatt. 2018 he produced many international music videos in India in association with a leading Bulgarian music label- Monte Music featuring Unicef goodwill ambassador Vladimir Ampov Grafa. Besides movies Khaitan has produced many high end fashion covers, editorials and advertorials for publications like Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Marie Claire and many other luxury-lifestyle brand films and commercials.
