Jonathan Lanz

Jonathan Lanz was born in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Thousand Oaks, California, with his family at a young age. From the ages of eight to about eighteen he spent half of each year between his Mother in California and Father in Nebraska. Jonathan attended college in Nebraska, nearly completing a degree in psychology, before leaving school to become a self-taught computer programmer, to provide for his budding family. After two decades, he left the tech world to pursue a new career in show business. Jonathan has been a producer on multiple films. He has also produced, directed and edited movies, television shows, music videos and a documentary. He's acted in a few films and held various crew positions, including Camera, Sound, Grip, Art Dept, Special Makeup & Practical Effects, etc... on numerous, commercials, live events, and feature films. Jonathan has engaged the local filmmaking community as an Executive Director of the Nebraska Film Group, helped form Young Filmmakers in Nebraska and is a strong supporter and advocate for independent filmmaking, throughout Nebraska.
