Katie Lemelin was born on October 19, 1988 in Wheatridge, Colorado. She only lived in Colorado for a short time before moving to Phoenix, Arizona at six months. When she was nine years old she became very interested in singing and got into the "Phoenix Childrens Choir" where she sang for the next eight years. After another year she worked her way into acting with her debut playing an "Oompa Loompa" in Valley Youth Theatre's production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Unfortunately at the age of thirteen she lost her mother to breast cancer on June 20th, 2002. This deeply impacted her life and was a turning point in her life. Since the passing of her mother she has worked intently on getting into the film business and plans to move to Los Angeles in the Spring of 2009.
