Linda Hamilton

Linda is a Canadian whistler. Raised in Sudbury and Toronto, she learned to whistle at age four. She studied music throughout her childhood, learning to play violin, recorder and guitar, and then continued in adulthood to learn to play autoharp, mandolin, flute and harp. It wasn't until 1984, however, that she discovered she could whistle musically and that she had a three and a half octave range. Since 2001, Linda has been the Owner / Moderator of the Orawhistle Global Whistlers' Forum, the world's largest whistling discussion group and has been performing as a whistler, often accompanying herself on autoharp or harp.
