Rod is an English actor and trained at the prestigious LAMDA drama school and is a classically trained actor . His varied film and TV parts include playing 'Thorfinn Rowle' in the HARRY POTTER movies where He was nominated for his stunt work in the famous cafe scene before working on 'Waking The Dead', Law And Order' , 'The Tunnel' , the Royals TV series and the number 1 Netflix series Stay Close. Rod is a physical actor who has extensive training in martial arts and is a fully licensed member in the ' GENBUKAN a traditional Japanese Battle field martial art where he is trained in original JUJUTSU and NINPO . He also has a extensive boxing background being trained by Australia's boxing legends ' BERNIE HALL ' at Sydney's tough Rocks Gymnasium and 'MAX PESCUD' at his home gym on the Gold coast Australia from whom he served a tough apprenticeship sparring with fighters all over Australia and the world for their upcoming title bouts and has trained under the late 'Mick Carney' at the famous Fitzroy Lodge boxing club in Lambeth South London for the last 25 years where he sparred with 'David Haye' former Cruiser and Heavy weight champion of the world and 'Ted Bami' former European light welterweight champion .
