Released on 8/30/98 and added to Patriots practice squad on 8/31/98, where he remained the entire season. Signed with Cleveland Browns on 3/26/99. Re-signed on 3/30/01 and 4/26/02. Signed a five-year contract with Cleveland as a restricted free agent on 7/15/05. Designated Browns franchise player in 2011 and 2012, signing one-year contracts on 7/30/11 and 3/19/12. Signed with San Francisco 49ers as an unrestricted free agent on 3/19/13. Re-signed with 49ers to two-year contract on 3/11/14 and then a one-year contract on 3/14/16. Signed a two-year contract with Cardinals an unrestricted free agent on 3/10/17.
