Oliver Koomsatira graduated with honors from The Professional Theatre Program at Dawson College and has since performed in over 180 film, theatre, dance, TV and commercials in both English and French. He has to this day performed over 1000 times for 450,000 audience members across Canada and The United States. He is the recipient of The Elsa Bolam Award for 2008 in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement by an Emerging Theatre Artist. He's an active full member of ACTRA, CAEA, UDA and RQD (Regroupement québécois de la dance). Recent TV credits include playing the role of a 6er Gang Member in the English adaptation of 19-2, directed by Louis Choquette that aired on CTV and Bravo. Recent TV commercials include one for La Régie des rentes du Québec directed by Nicolas Monette and for Videotron - TVA Accès directed by Louis-Philippe Eno. Theatre credits include the role of David Lowe in Factory Theatre's Banana Boys directed by the Dora Mavor Moore Award winning director Nina Lee Aquino, Upton in fu-GEN Asian Canadian Theatre's Ching Chong Chinaman directed by Nina Lee Aquino, Mowgli in Geordie Productions' The Jungle Book, directed by Dean Fleming; and Moritz Steifel in Persephone Theatre's Spring Awakening directed by Gabrielle Soskin. He's also toured Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Yukon and The United-States with 10 productions. The first one, Law, funded by Le Ministère de la Justice to raise awareness about bullying. The second, L'adventure Saine Cité, funded by Le Ministère de la Santé et des Services Sociaux to raise awareness about the risks of excessive gambling, drug addictions and alcohol abuse (3 seasons). The third, Me Me Me by Dynamo Theatre, an acrobatic movement theatre show exploring bullying and friendship. The forth, as Mowgli in Geordie Production's The Jungle Book at The Citadel Theatre (Edmonton) and The Manitoba Theatre for Young People (Winnipeg). The 5th, as a principal dancer and acrobat with Compagnie de dance Sursaut in At Nightfall choreographed by Francine Châteauvert. The 6th, 7th and 8th as a principal dancer with Fleuve-Espace Danse Company in 1.2.3. les pieds dans l'eau and Île des ailes choreographed by Chantal Caron. The 9th as a lead role in Bullying and Violence directed by Anne-Marie Savoie, to raise awareness and train the school board personel in regards to intimidation at school. The 10th as a dancer in Ballet Ouest's The Nutcracker in Montreal, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Trois-Rivières and Victoriaville (2 seasons).
