Brent Hodge is a filmmaker specializing in comedy and pop culture documentaries. He is best known for A Brony Tale (Netflix), I Am Chris Farley (Spike/Paramount), Pistol Shrimps (NBC) Freaks and Geeks: The Documentary (A&E), Who Let the Dogs Out (Hulu), Run This City (Quibi/Roku), and SNL's Downey Wrote That (coming to NBC Peacock). Hodge is also the show-runner and director for Season 1 and 2 of the series A User's Guide To Cheating Death (BBC Earth/Netflix) He is an IDA-nominated and Leo Award-winning director. He won a Canadian Screen Award for directing The CBC Beetle Roadtrip Sessions. He won a Founders Award for Pistol Shrimps at Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival. Hodge continues to make films with the mandate of finding humor in real-life stories.
