Rubens Mello

Rubens Mello has dedicated himself to art since the 1980s when, together with the musical group, he actively participated in cultural events promoted by the "Centro Cultural João Cavalheiro Salém", in the city of Guarulhos. In 1996, he joined SENAC Guarulhos, Radialismo - Setor de Locação (DRT nº 15.349 - Folha 63V - Livro 28), arriving to present in 1997, a radio program on the community radio Life FM. Parallel to his musical work, join an amateur theater group, formed by young people from his community, where he managed to direct a series of collections and sketches in the theater of the municipal library. In 1999, he recorded a pilot for the radio program Sexta Negra, which served as a stimulus for José Mojica Marins (Zé do Caixão), for an 89FM or Noise program, where Rubens even wrote some texts. During this period, he started to accompany José Mojica in his work and did an internship with him, while at the same time he studied - Técnico Actor - at SENAC Santana, becoming professional.
