Kim Ekberg early developed an interest for cinema. As a kid he used to accompany the movie machinist in his room in order to see the movies for free. At the age of twelve he won a 8mm film camera in a competition and started to make his own films. As an adult Kim Ekberg decided to destroy all these movies since they didn't agree with his new cinematic style. He entered The Gotland Film School in 2005 and made a handful of memorable movies with his friends Jonatan Lyrefelt and Stefan Ramstedt. Since fall 2008 he has disappeared without a trace, but is still providing directors such as Erik Kammerland new scripts (mysteriously postmarked in Warzaw).
