Anna Rulevskaya is a screenwriter, novelist and journalist. Born in Moscow, she studied history of art at Moscow State University. In 2004, she won a literary competition created by Russian Vogue and went on to become a regular contributor to Vogue for the next 5 years. She also wrote for the Russian Newsweek and the Yerevan magazines. Her first original screenplay 'Love Signs' (2005) was made into a film by the distinguished Russian theatre and film director Vladimir Mirzoev. The following year Rulevskaya's novel Love Machine was published by Amphora publishing house. Since 2013, Rulevskaya has created a number of original screenplays for Russian and Ukrainian television. Anna Rulevskaya has participated as a dramatist and narrative developer in Arthur Pita's modern ballets 'The Mother' ( London, 2018) and 'Summer, Winter and The Rite of Spring' (Moscow, 2021)
