Oliver Singer was born and raised in New York to Steve Singer, a creative director, and Mardee Kravit, a television writer. He went to the Collegiate School for boys on the upper west side of Manhattan and at 16, was a Nationally ranked Jr. tennis player, splitting his time between his studies at Collegiate, and training at IMG's Bollettieri tennis academy in Bradenton, FL. Singer dreamed of making tennis a professional occupation but changed his mind after an injury that afforded him enough time to act in the school play as Marco in Arthur Miller's, "A View From the Bridge." The experience cemented his decision to pursue the study of acting, leading him to attend Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, and to move to Los Angeles shortly after. Since moving to LA, Singer has written, directed, and acted in numerous short films, and caught a break playing the starring role of Lucas in the film, "Silicon Beach", which premiered at the 2018 Santa Barbara Film Festival.
