Matt Leacy

Matt Leacy is a co-presenter on Channel Nines 'Garden Gurus' after previously appearing on the first 3 seasons of 'Domestic Blitz', Matt Leacy continues to attract numerous TV appearances, including the 'Today Show', 'The Kerrie-Anne Morning Show' and 'Random Acts of Kindness'. Matt's company was also previously engaged in managing, resourcing and landscape designs for 'Backyard Blitz', 'The Outdoor Room' and 'Battlefronts'. Matt Leacy founded 'Landart Landscapes' - a design, construction and maintenance company, which he now co-owns and manages with two partners, his interest for television began working behind the scenes, and then developed into a passion - presenting on Domestic Blitz. Qualified in horticulture design and structural landscape, Matt is driven by creating spaces that become more and more appealing with maturity - and where the worries of the day just fade away. Matt is drawn to the energy abounding from the outdoors and he feels privileged that his job involves creating something with his hands that has the potential to thrive long after his time. Although home is where the heart is, Matt has traveled extensively. One of his most memorable jobs was in Thailand following the devastating 2004 tsunami, where he helped locals rebuild a temple garden that had been totally destroyed.
