Of Uruguayan mother and Spanish father, Ramón is an actor born in Terrassa (Barcelona), where he spent the first years of his childhood, next to his little sister. When Ramón was five years old, his family decided to move to the island of Mallorca in search of new job opportunities. In Mallorca, his father developed a career as an engineer and his mother opened an optical shop that has been serving customers for almost 40 years. Happy, funny and a little shy, Ramón was a curious child who enjoyed learning all kinds of things at school. In addition, his friendly personality helped him nurture a large group of friends with whom he played and lived many "adventures." The most remarkable aspect of that time is that for years he was a basketball player. With his team, he became champion child of Mallorca and the Balearic Islands. As a teenager, Ramón mainly focused on his studies but began to develop a taste for the artistic that led him to learn to play the guitar and become part of his high school musical group in which he played the electric bass. Unknowingly, it is with this experience that his passion for being on stage and in front of an audience would be born. At the age of eighteen he moved to Barcelona to study architecture, thus starting one of the most important stages of his life. The year was 1993. Barcelona had just hosted the Olympic Games and was a bright and dynamic city that stood out at an artistic and cultural level. Ramón was fascinated by all this and at the age of twenty-one decided to follow his artistic impulse and start studying theatre acting in a small school called "La Otra Orilla". It was there where he took his first steps as an actor and discovered a world that marked his path for good, both personally and professionally. In 1999 Ramón made his debut as a professional actor with the play "Night Sky" by Susan Yankowitz at the Artenbrut Theater in Barcelona. He played a patient suffering from aphasia. After that, over twenty-five plays have led him to work in all kinds of theaters, both alternative and commercial, as well as to embody very diverse characters, both in drama and comedy. In 2000 he shot his first film project, a short film called "Placebo" produced by the ESCAC film school in Barcelona. Since then, Ramón has taken part in numerous audiovisual projects both in film and television. Some of his works that are worth highlighting are "Cannabis", "Elephants on a spiderweb", "Fest", "Smile" or "Love is a suicide". Ramón is married to Arantxa, a Catalan landscape architect that he met while studying architecture, and is the father of Ramón (born in 2006) and Martí (born in 2011).
