Gladys Chmiel is a professional actress & vocalist working in the Milwaukee/Chicago region. Though originally working in theater, including with Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, and First Stage Milwaukee, she has also appeared in numerous commercials and print layouts. Gladys entered the film world as a vocalist on a fictional children's record album used in the disturbing, climactic scene of "Back at the Staircase." She was then cast as scatter-brained hoarder "Alice" in Samuel Karow's quirky comedy "The Splinter Palace." In June of 2019, Gladys received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Footlights People's Choice Awards. She is a founding member of Triangle Mood Productions.
