Among the supporting actors who have made their presence felt on Pakistani television channels, Asim Bukhari is perhaps one of the best known. With his characteristic round glasses, Asim Bukhari has played pivotal roles in a number of unforgettable dramas whose genres ranged from serious to comedy. Having been on screen for more than two decades, he started his acting career from PTV and has appeared in a number of memorable dramas such as 'Ainak Wala Jin', 'Janjaal Pura', 'Pal Bhar Main', 'Ghanti', 'Zard Dopeher' and 'Shehr-e-'Murad'. Asim Bukhari also appeared in Pakistani films, including 'Khamosh Nigahen' in year 1971 and 'Dubai Chalo' in year 1979.
