Loren Hammonds is a NYC native who has worked in the film & entertainment industry for over 20 years. He is Co-Head of Documentary at TIME Studios, overseeing the expansion of nonfiction feature, episodic, and immersive programming. He previously held the titles of Vice President of Immersive Programming at Tribeca Enterprises and Senior Programmer at Tribeca Festival. Loren has worked extensively in production in feature film and variety specials as well as in various curatorial roles for The Gotham (formerly IFP) , Tribeca All-Access, Hamptons International Film Festival, and Bogota Independent Film Festival (IndieBo). He most recently executive produced The Territory (Nat Geo), which premiered at Sundance 2022, (winner of the World Cinema Documentary Audience Award) and Katrina Babies (HBO), which premiered at Tribeca Festival 2022 (winner of the Best New Documentary Director Award). His views on cinematic and immersive storytelling have been featured in several publications and programs, including The New York Times, BBC Click, NPR, The Today Show, and Vice. He has also been featured as a guest speaker at Cannes Film Festival, SXSW, Columbia University's Digital Storytelling Lab, Mutek, Pratt Institute, Scuola Holden, P&G Signal, and more.
