Raised in a Marine Corps family, Charles has lived in California, Missouri, New York (in both Brooklyn and New Windsor), and Woodbridge,VA, due to his mother's career as a Marine Corps Officer. Charles discovered his love for acting after watching "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" when he was 5 years old. . When he was cast as the Cowardly Lyon in a school production of "The Wizard of Oz," he was immediately drawn to becoming an actor. His stage credits include "A Children's Story," "A Soldiers Play," "Six Degrees of Separation," "A Raisin in the Sun," "Romeo & Juliet," "Othello," "King Lear," "Hot L Baltimore," "American Buffalo," "Hamlet," "The Crucible," "Bash: Three Latter-Day Plays," and most recently "Barefoot in the Park," for Chevy Chase Players. His film credits include "Protect yourself at all Times," "Financial AIDS," "Women's Studies," Dead Dawgs," "Intuition," "Second Person Singular," "Detective & Dames," "Valley in the Shadow of Death," "The List," "Burning Ray," "Charity," and "N-word by Choice." He resides in the Washington, DC area.
