His theatrical experience along with his preparation in the Centro Universitario de Teatro (CUT), make him one of the most-coveted actors. Raúl Briones stands out due to his professionalism and the forcefulness of his performances. In theatre he has worked with directors such as Luis De Tavira, Daniel Giménez Cacho, David Gaitán, Mario Espinosa, Alonso Ruizpalacios and Alberto Villareal. His interpretation in the feature film 'Asfixia', directed by Kenia Márquez, has granted him with various recognitions. Amongst them, nominations for both the Ariel and the Diosa de Plata for Best Supporting Actor, along with the Ojito Award for Best Actor in the Festival Internacional de Cine de Moreliain 2018. Raúl has worked in films such as 'Güeros','Paraíso Perdido','La Habitación','Los Adioses', 'Ocho de Cada Diez','I Carry You with Me','Amores Modernos,'among many others and in television we have seen him in 'La Hermandad','Crónica de castas','Flaco','Club de Cuervos','La Balada de Hugo Sanchez' and 'La Templanza,'a project for Amazon Prime Video, shot in Spain. Soon, we will see him in the film 'Estanislao'.
