Lindsay Somers

Lindsay Somers has worked as an accomplished Medical Consultant in the film community for over 15 years through her company "Ready Set Medic", with extensive work choreographing medical sequences and instructing actors on their performances. Recruited to work with HBO as the first-ever Canadian Intimacy Coordinator in 2018, Somers has since opened up her second company, "Intimacy Coordinators Canada", and became a member of professional association "Intimacy Directors & Coordinators". Passionate about the movement to improve the safety of performers while filming scenes involving nudity and/or simulated sex, Somers wrote the Closed Set Protocols that are currently being used across Canada. Somers has been awarded two Exemplary Citizen Awards by the City of Toronto for her volunteer work within her community, and continues her involvement in local and nationwide initiatives.
