Paul Murphy

Paul Murphy was a television and radio reporter in Australia. His television career included "This Day Tonight", "Dateline" and "Nationwide"; and on radio with the show "PM" from 1983 until 1993. In the 1994 Australia Day Honours, he was made a "Member of the Order of Australia" (AM; for service to public broadcasting and to journalism. In 2000, he was awarded the Walkley Award for Most Outstanding Contribution to Journalism. Murphy passed away after a struggle with cancer. Murphy was married to Kay Murphy.
