Barbara Giese

Barbara Giese is a German director and dramaturg specializing in musical theatre. She received a joint diploma in musical theatre direction from the Hamburg Academy of Music and the University of Hamburg. From 1993 - 1998 she held various positions of responsibility at the Oldenburg state theatre, participating in the production of numerous musicals and plays. She also received voice training from Weldon Thomas in Augsburg. Ms. Giese has since worked in event management and in the production of instructional and documentary films. She is married and has two children.
