Christian Taylor

Christian Taylor was born Christian Clark Johnson in Biloxi, Mississippi to Jim and Vicki Johnson. The first of four girls, Christian grew up in Laurel, Mississippi through the age of 13. She attended the Stony Brook School in Stony Brook, NY for high school where she fell in love with acting. Christian received her BA in Drama from The Catholic University in Washington, DC in 1988 and immediately joined the nation's longest running national touring company, The National Players, as Muriel the Goat in George Orwell's Animal Farm and Hero in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Christian Taylor's 40-year entertainment industry career spans stage, screen, and sound booth, as she has been talent, producer, director, casting director, and coach. Christian began her career in the entertainment industry interviewing senators on Capitol Hill with the TV/Radio department of the Senate. The Girl Who Wore Freedom is her directorial debut. Christian is married to Jeremy Taylor and they have four sons.
