David Stair is an East TN Based character actor/ voice talent who is always up for travel given the right opportunity. His Origins as an actor can be traced to Lincoln Memorial University's Hayrick Playhouse Dinner Theater. It is here that he debuted as Bo Decker In William Inge's Bustop in 1985. The next Years would see David playing a variety of Entertaining roles there, including Norman in The Star Spangled Girl, Uncle Smelicue In Dark of The Moon, Marvin in Bleacher Bums and Charlie In Never Too Late. During that same time He worked as an on air radio and television personality at The Sigmon Communication Center. Soon after graduating Lincoln Memorial University David became active in Community Theatre productions in The Knoxville Tn area. Favorite roles include; Jules From My 3 Angels at West side Dinner Theater Mr. Kraler in The Diary of Ann Frank at The Bijou Glenn Griffin in The Desperate Hours at The Oak Ridge Community Playhouse and Stuart in Beyond Therapy at Theater Central. In The early Nineties He began booking some small roles in Commercials, Then Began seeing screen Time in Popular Crime recreation shows , Like Snapped, Sins and Secrets Killer Couples and Homicide Hunter for Nationwide cable. His most famous Voice over Role occurred in the Mid Nineties when he was cast as Leland Trask in Cyberflix's award winning Cd Rom game, Titanic: Adventure Out of Time. In The Early Two Thousands, David began garnering roles in Independent films. Rocket Fuel in which he lends his voice talents as a Character named The Space Man Is an official selection of The Nox Film Festival in Uruguay and The Increasing Deficit won best music Video at The 2005 The Other Venice Film Festival. Comedic and/ or Villainous characters are his favorite roles to play but he welcomes and celebrates the opportunity to breathe life into any character that helps to tell a story that stays the audience.
