Graduate of The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles in 2005 having earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree. Keelan Grace has been involved in many student and independent film projects during and after graduation from The Art Institute, including often working with the film program students at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. A career ambition of being a Screenwriter, Keelan earned the first "Best Of" award in Advanced Screenwriting at The Art Institute for a short adaptation of Clive Barker's short story "The Midnight Meat Train" (the same story which later went into actual production with Lionsgate; this specific interpretation of the film is unassociated with Keelan's work). Before this, Keelan attended Paramount High School in Paramount, California, where he was a PEERS Counselor, acting as a student counselor who could talk with the students on a more comfortable level to them, for the latter three years (and was granted the position of President for the organization at Paramount High School during his Senior Year based on his experience and dedication to the program). He was also heavily involved with the schools Drama program, assisting in as many stage productions as he could, both on and off the stage. He was also granted an honorary "Co-President" position for this school organization for all his work and dedication. Often working in multiple departments on productions, Keelan has assisted not only in writing, but also storyboarding, camera/lighting, and even make-up effects on many of the productions he's been involved in (on one particular stage production of King Lear, he was even given a minor role on top of his make-up effects duties), relishing in the challenges.
