Adriana Solis

Adriana is Chicago native transplanted to Los Angeles with a mission to bring a fresh, Latina-American face and voice to entertainment media across all platforms. Adriana began her professional performance training at the age of 11 in Chicago. As a teenager, she worked regularly in the burgeoning theater scene in Chicago up until her acceptance to UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television. At UCLA, Adriana honed her skills in acting, and found a new love in directing theater and film. Her determination to tell a different kind of Latin-American story, and move away from the stereotypes so often seen in the media, led Adriana to co-found Travieso Productions soon after graduating from UCLA. Travieso Productions has now successfully produced and distributed their first film, and is working on several scripted and unscripted television series under her guidance and leadership. Independent of her production company, Adriana has focused on acting and writing, and is looking forward to guest directing at The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts for the 2014-2015 season. She continues to enjoy booking acting work for commercials, TV, and Film.
