Chris Petschler performed for a couple of years, straight out of college, in the tourist- and octogenarian-filled world of staged theater in south Florida. He played several leading roles in a diverse range of shows -- from the young romantic lead in 'Forty Carats,' to the title role of the hunchbacked Jewish rabbi in 'Kuni Leml.' In 1994, Chris moved to Chicago, where he embarked on a long-lasting career on stage, with the occasional foray onto the screen. He performed in well over forty different stage productions, including many leading and supporting roles. Shows like: 'Julius Caesar' (Mark Antony - supporting,) 'She Loves Me' (Georg - lead,) 'Lucky Stiff' (Vinny - supporting,) 'A Perfect Wedding' (Bill - lead,) and 'The Mousetrap' (Christopher Wren - supporting,) just to name a select few. In the last few years of his tenure in Chicago, he also began actively pursuing work on-screen. He shot several commercials and industrial films, as well as a few overnights on the blockbuster 'The Dark Knight,' and a fun guest star stint on The Second City's sitcom 'A Credit to the Family' starring Ed Helms. He was also a final contender for the leading role in the Fox/Warner Brothers sitcom 'Happy Hour,' and was thus convinced to move out to Los Angeles to try and further his on-screen career in the Mecca of film making. Chris moved to L.A. in the winter of 2008, and continues to reside there today (2010.)
