Ajayan Venugopalan came to limelight writing and directing the popular Malayalam sitcom Akkarakazhchakal. His short film Penumbra based on the occupy wall street movement won a lot of accolades in International film festivals. He then went on to collaborate with National award-winning director Shyamaprasad, writing for the movies Ivide and English.
