Rodney Luis Aquino

Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Rodney Luis Aquino's imagination was inspired by the comedy of late-night television and the adventure films of the 1980s. With a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Full Sail University, Rodney learned all aspects of filmmaking from formulating an idea, to creating a script, to developing the project from hiring a crew, to casting to post production. Before college, Rodney served twelve years with the United States Air Force where after the events of September 11, 2001, he was deployed to Doha, Qatar and then after the war with Iraq, he was again deployed to Doha, Quarter in 2003. Through the experience he gained while in the military, his organization and discipline skills have made him an extremely effective director. Rodney has directed over 30 projects which includes commercials, music videos, and short films, PSA's, Feature Films and a Documentary. He also has set experience on several Network Television shows for CBS as well as Showtime where he has contributed his organization skills in both the Accounting Departments as well as Covid Compliance Officer. As an award-winning Director, Rodney's dedication to his craft and a willingness to work with other departments has made him a valued asset to any production team.
