In April 2005, Lindsay Ryan successfully auditioned in New York City, alongside over 600 girls from all across North America, for one of the seven principal orphan roles offered in the Original Cast of the 30th Anniversary National Equity Tour of Annie. Lindsay and her sisters, Molly and Kaleigh, have gone on to be cast as principals in a variety of stage, film, television and recording projects in New York, St. Louis and Los Angeles, where she and her family now reside. Lindsay also went on to record her soloing principal role for the 30th Anniversary Annie Dual CD Released by Time-Life Records in 2008. Lindsay has also appeared in principal roles in Gypsy at The Muny, The American Girls Revue in Hollywood, and in the title role of Annie at LA Valley College. A musical theatre and pop/rock performer at heart, Lindsay has also begun to appear in lead TV/film/commercial roles including Mystery ER, commercials for Cellular South, Littlest Pet Shop, The Food Network, Tomorrow's Toys/Jellybeanies, and Ashley Furniture, a Fox Kids interstitial, and other industrial films. She is also a dancer for the L.A. Clippers Jr. Jam Squad. Lindsay enjoys recording pop/rock music with her sister Molly and their best friends Hayley and Kelsey Smith in a girl group (previously known as "Sorelle") under Alex Cantrall and Billy Purnell.
