Paul Sinacore, CSA, a member of SAG since 1996 and a master of the arts of commercial, television, film, voice-over, and music video casting launched his own brand and company, Paul Sinacore Casting, on April 20, 2021. An expert on real people casting with a special gift for person-centered interviewing, Sinacore was lead talent researcher for documentary style film commercials including those by Academy Award winning directors, Errol Morris and Emmanuel "Chivo" Lubezki. In the commercial world, Sinacore played a crucial role in casting dozens of Super Bowl commercials, working with clients such as Apple, Nike, Facebook, Macy's, McDonald's, and Budweiser among others. For television series, Sinacore cast the first season reboot of the classic series Unsolved Mysteries for Netflix. On the music video side, Sinacore was instrumental in casting Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling!," Beyoncé's "Hold Up," and 2019 Video Music Awards Song of The Year, Lil' Nas X's "Old Town Road" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus in which he worked directly with acclaimed director Calmatic. While working with the top advertising agencies, producers, directors and talent agents, Sinacore has conducted thousands of personal interviews and auditions, negotiated major appearance contracts for A-List actors and social media influencers, and booked hundreds of actors for commercials, television, independent films, voice-overs, and music videos. Sinacore's work while under the umbrella of Dan Bell Casting propelled Bell into winning the Commercial Casting Director of the Year award at the 2019 Heller Awards. Gaining invaluable insight and extensive experience working as the direct point of contact with production companies such as Smuggler, MJZ, Anonymous Content, Biscuit Filmworks, and Iconoclast, Sinacore has the privilege of working closely with directors such as Paul Hunter, Ian Pons Jewell, Lance Acord, Peter Lang, Mark Romanek, and Spike Lee, among others. Paul Sinacore Casting is a unique brand, bringing an unparalleled personal touch, awareness, and sensitivity to casting while connecting directors to talent in a way not thought possible. In May 2021, Sinacore completed casting for the final four episodes of In Ice Cold Blood with Ice-T, Season 3 on Oxygen, and Seasons 3 and 4 of Unsolved Mysteries for Netflix. Sinacore is casting Season 1 of The Order of the Exorcists and Robert the Doll for Discovery/The Travel Channel. An Honors Graduate of UCLA, with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology, Sinacore utilizes the lenses of social psychology and sociocultural anthropology to focus his talent for personal interconnection, interpersonal communication and empathic awareness towards casting. Sinacore is sensitive to the critical issues of diversity, inclusion, and well-being in an ever changing society and commercial market. Sinacore is a UCLA Alumni Executive Board Advisor for Alumni Scholars and maintains a constant presence in mentoring and guiding young UCLA academic scholars and speaks at the University whenever possible. As an actor and active longtime member of SAG-AFTRA, Sinacore fosters positivity and solidarity in the acting community and strengthens the relationships that exist on both sides of the camera. Establishing Paul Sinacore Productions in 2021, Sinacore is the Executive Producer, Producer, and Co-Creator of "just checking in..." an episodic docuseries exploring post Covid-19 mental health issues. As Executive Producer and Producer, Sinacore is in post-production on the Rock & Roll documentary "Bet You Want Another Love Song" centered on the band East of Gideon, 30 years in the making, and based around the history of the Los Angeles music scene circa 1989-2001. Projected release date early 2022.
