In 2005, after studying film directing at the Paris Sorbonne University, he started as first AD in the feature film "The Serpent" (Fidélité Films). In 2008, at only 23, he became one of the founders of the production company Adastra Films. The same year, he directed and produced his first short film, "The Danaïdes' Barrel" nominated in 24 countries and more than 40 international festivals. At Adastra Films, he is Artistic Director on different corporate films and completed his second short film "The Assistant" in 2012 (selected at Palm Springs and awarded 1st Prize at Helvetia French Film Festival). His third short film "Falling Prey" was bought by French National TV Network - France Télévisions. David Guiraud also edited the feature film "Brides" by Tinatin Kajrishvili, awarded at the 2014 Berlinale - Panorama section and selected at international festivals including Tribeca and Busan.
