Colleen Murray Peyton grew up in Aurora, Illinois and studied improvisation and sketch comedy in Chicago at The Second City, iO Chicago, and The Annoyance Theater. She performed for over a decade in Chicago in a variety of shows including "Deep Schwa", "Virgin Daiquiri", "Rush, The Musical", "Swear Jar" and "Moist," an original sketch show which was selected to go to the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen. She is the creator/performer/producer of a comedic music video called "Shark Week: Attack of the Menses" and a co-creator/writer/star of an original comedic pilot called "Darcy and Tess". Colleen relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 with her husband/filmmaker, Andrew Peyton.
