David Radcliff

David Radcliff has won top honors in drama writing at the Austin Film Festival and was selected for the Disney Writing Program as a comedy writer. His work -- and life -- sits somewhere in-between these two poles. David has cerebral palsy and uses a manual wheelchair or crutches to get around. He serves as Chair of the Disabled Writers Committee at the Writers Guild of America West, where he helps industry gatekeepers find and develop talented disabled writers. He is also a member of the Think Tank for Inclusion and Equity, a consortium of talented television writers from a wide range of underrepresented groups. (Though disabled people make up about 20% of the population, only .7% of the WGA is made up of this demographic.) David has written material for Nathan Fillion, Peter Farrelly, and First Lady Michelle Obama. On topics involving disability, entertainment, and business, he also has spoken at venues including The Kennedy Center, the Annenberg Innovation Lab, and the Veterans Affairs Office of Los Angeles. He enjoys short walks on the beach.
