In 2012, Jack Casadone produced the trailer for the Music Masters Camps series, which included interviews with Todd Rundgren, Dweezil Zappa, Paul Gilbert, Guthrie Govan, Richard Thompson, Stanley Jordan, Adrian Belew, and many more. His latest feature, "Stick Men - A Little Deeper" is set for release in early 2013. Jack Casadone was born in New York City and was raised in its northern suburbs. His first filmmaking experience was in the fourth grade on a stop-motion animation project using super 8mm film, never to return to filmmaking until 2001. He began playing guitar in 1978 and formed his first band in 1979. His plan was to pursue a career in music and he attended Berklee College of Music in 1986. In 1988 he studied fretless bass with legendary fusion bassist Percy Jones. In 1990, he met Austin, TX native composer/screenwriter/director Z-Man, which would mark the launch of a long collaboration which remains active to this day. After a series of failures, in 1994, Casadone and Z-Man created the musical theatre piece, "Vampires in Da House" as a unique vehicle to present their music. By 1999, it had evolved into a full-fledged "Broadway" style musical, and was produced by Wings Theatre in NYC for a six-week run. In 2001, having no experience in filmmaking, Casadone and Z-Man took advantage of the newly affordable technology and began producing "Vampires in Da House" as a feature film. Unable to finish the film, they drew on their experience and regrouped in 2005 to produce and complete their first feature, "Crickett and the Little Girl Power". After several more projects with Z-Man, Casadone branched out his filmmaking endeavors and produced several documentaries on youth programs in the troubled city of Newburgh, NY. In 2010, Casadone met legendary bassist Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), which marked the beginning of his career producing music documentaries. He lives in Kingston, NY with his lovely wife Tara, and his stepson Leo.
