Gualtiero Negrini began his career as an operatic tenor and conductor while still in his teens, working with such stars as Luciano Pavarotti. At age 21 he actually became the youngest tenor to ever sing a leading role with a major American opera house, in Lyric Opera of Chicago's 1982 production of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte. He would later move on to the world of musical theater, performing the role of Ubaldo Piangi nearly 3,00 times in the Los Angeles and San Francisco companies of Lloyd-Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. Although he had directed and acted in short films in his early years, he finally made the official move into film and television with a hilarious guest performance on Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2009. He has also done countless commercials and voice-overs over the years. In 2012 he formed his production company Ironmasque Films, directing and co-writing Fairlane Road (2015). A well respected vocal coach as well, he resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife and their three children.
