Camilo Becerra

Chilean filmmaker, screenwriter, director, and producer, he studied at the Universidad Arcis and worked on projects for television in his country. He was assistant director of the short film 2 Horas (Alberto Fuguet, 2009) and directed the documentary Esperando México (2008). Perro muerto (Best Film at the WIP of the Santiago de Chile Film Festival '09) is his first feature film, which won several awards, including Best Opera Prima at the Trieste Film Festival, Italy, Best Chilean Film at the Valdivia International Film Festival (FICVALDIVIA 2010), Best Chilean Film and SIGNIS Award at the UC Film Festival 2011.
