West Ramsey is actor with a twisted sense of humor, a love of animals, horror & sci-fi movies, road trips, the outdoors and earthing. He also a volunteer at the Clinton Street Theater, where Rocky Horror has screened since Saturday night since 1978. . West's first onstage performance in a play was his senior year in high school. He played Colonel Harrison Howell in Kiss Me Kate. After high school, West went on to play a variety of characters in audience participation murder mysteries with Moonstruck Productions in Georgetown and Sacramento. His first role in a community theater production was as Charlie Brown in 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' in Volcano, California on 1991. West went on to perform in theatre throughout Sacramento and the Sierra Foothills for over 20 years before he had his first film role in 2004. In 2006, West played Gordon/Reverend Allsop in the play 'They Came From Mars and Landed Outside the Farndale Avenue Church Hall in Time for the Townswomen's Guild's Coffee Morning', a role in which he was compared to Will Farrell by Barry Wisdom of Back Stage.com in a review of the production. In April 2012, West appeared on television and the Internet as a zombie in a Public Service Announcement for the California Office of Traffic Safety campaign for driver awareness month, Distracted Drivers are Zombie Drivers. In addition to acting, West has a love for photography and enjoys taking production and publicity stills on set/location and for the stage, as well as at events and in nature. Originally from Sacramento, California. West has been based out of Portland, Oregon since August 2013. West has appeared in over 100 film projects and really enjoys working with independent filmmakers.
