Christopher McGinnis is an American Songwriter, an accomplished Jazz, Latin, Pop pianist who has a gritty, soulful singing style all his own. He is a head organist, playing bass with his feet and singing for the NY Catholic Archdioses on a weekly basis. Christopher started playing piano at the ripe age of 5 years old. He has studied privately at age 7 at the Julliard School and with many noted musicians. He has been written up numerous times as a piano prodigy commanding all styles. His favorite is Jazz and Latin. He wrote, sang and played piano on his 10 original Pop tune thus far. Christopher was honored to play for the Us Army 42nd Infantry in 2011 when they found out he wrote a song called "The War Song An American Hero." He has since performed this particular song for Senators, Congress, State Officials. He has played on Celebrity Cruise lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, at the Paramont Theatre and was the featured pianist on the historic documentary called Kids Talk Politics. He played piano and sang at the Broadway Comedy club for the International Momedy festival in 2009 an 2010. Christopher is the youngest guest artist at age 11 to play piano at the world famous Jazz Standard. He was there once a month. No venue is too small for Christopher having performed live at Madison Square Garden for the halftime show in Nov and Dec 2009 and returning on May 2010. Christopher has done a bunch of voice-overs. He portrayed Young Indiana Jones in the advertisements for the movie The Crystal Skull with Harrison Ford. He landed a spot next to Jeff Goldblum in Law & Order "criminal intent". He was the lead in Hide & Seek and had a supporting role in Strawberry-Bannana which won the Warner Bros Award in 2009. Christopher has recently entered into the Pop world in 2012. He performed at the Country Rock Pop Tour in May 2012, opened up for an Indie Atlantic Records band in July 2012 and his own show at the iconic Bitter End in NYC which was SOLD out Dec 2012. In 2013 he performed at Playlist Live in front of 4700 people, The Digifest in NYC 3000 people, Teenhoot 1500 people in Nashville, The Make Music Ny Festival, CBS TV "On The Couch", and the Bitter End. He will be performing live at the Westchester County Center in 2014 and Headlining the Pop City Tour shows.
