David Dasilma

A dual citizen, originally from British Columbia, Canada, David Dasilma moved to Los Angeles in 2013 after completing his BA in Theatre from the University of South Florida-after a six-year, award-winning career in the United States Army. Upon arrival, he studied at New York Film Academy - Los Angeles and earned his MFA in Film. Within the Army, Dasilma was one of the elite. He was Airborne qualified and held a Secret Clearance. He was the 2009 Medical Soldier of the Year, and one of 12 nominees for US Army Overall Soldier of the Year - he came up short in the voting and earned the "Brass Eagle" Runner Up trophy out of the 1.1 million Soldier pool. He earned 19 combat and peacetime decorations and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Prior to being recruited into Classified Security and Tactical Operations Dasilma was tasked as a suicide prevention liaison and an Armed Forces Network spokesperson for suicide prevention. He wrote and published two novels ("Heaven's Devils" and "The Student Council" - America Star Books/Amazon), and scribed 27 feature articles for Army.mil. He also edited over 2400 smaller articles for an intra-Army publication, "The Task Force Blackjack Weekly Newsletter. He has interned for a US Senator and written, directed, performed in, and produced several small projects. He interned at Director Justin Lin's Perfect Storm Entertainment and recently resigned his position as Assistant to TV Executive Producer in order to launch FBIC-Degenerate Entertainment with business partner and best friend of 31 years, Vince Skirzyk.
