Devin Begley was born in June 1986 and raised in Santa Cruz, California to parents John and Kim Begley. His parents divorced and he has two older step-siblings named Lorelei and Gus after his mother remarried when he was 4 years of age. Devin has always been interested in storytelling and was encouraged to pursue his creative outlets in music, drawing, photography, writing and theatre. He performed from the age of 12 to 15 in the Monterey Bay Repertory Theatre and was honored as a California Arts Scholar when accepted at age 15 for theatre and animation at CSSSA-CalArts. He participated in drama productions at Scotts Valley High School and the senior class voted him Most Likely to Win an Oscar. Devin was awarded High School Outstanding Performer for Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady and Baker in Into the Woods by the American Musical Theatre of San Jose. He attended the San Francisco Academy of Art University the summer he turned 17 to pursue storyboarding for film production which he then taught in the video production class of his senior year in high school. This experience cemented his enthusiasm and appreciation of acting, screenwriting, directing and film production. He graduated with a BFA Theatre (Acting) from the University of Southern California, May 2008. Devin started his photography business while in college.
