Eskindir Tesfay was born in Eritrea and raised in Ulm, Germany. He discovered his passion for movies, martial arts, cultures, and languages at a young age. In 1996, he embarked on a life-changing journey to China, which profoundly shaped his future artistic path. His linguistic talents were recognized when he won first prize in a nationwide Chinese language competition, inspiring him to study Sinology and immerse himself in Chinese culture for several years. During his Sinology studies in Heidelberg and Taiwan from 1999 to 2005, Eskindir gained initial on-camera experience as a commercial actor and model, while also deepening his expertise in martial arts. He has since participated as an actor and choreographer in a diverse range of productions, spanning American, Chinese, African, Turkish, and European projects. Notably, he had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed Jackie Chan. In 2010, Eskindir's talent in martial arts and choreography earned him a nomination for "Best Fight" at the Taurus World Stunt Awards in Los Angeles. Since then, he has ventured into producing and directing, successfully bringing several short films and a feature film to life. His versatility and extensive experience both in front of and behind the camera distinguish him in the industry. As a multilingual artist, Eskindir Tesfay has the ability to communicate in five languages. He has contributed his talents as an actor and fight action choreographer in various cinema and television formats, including European, American, Chinese, and African productions. Alongside his acting career, he remains knowledge-hungry and is preparing multiple film projects as a producer and director.
